A profile is a critical part of your Outlook experience. The profile consists of the accounts, data files, and settings that specify where your email messages are saved. When they become corrupted, you may experience a Varity of issue that can be solved by doing the following:
- Press start , type control panel, open “control panel”

- Open “Mail”

- Show Profiles

- “Add” a new profile

- Name is anything you want, I used the days date for future reference, Select “OK”

- Select “Next” in the new window that opens

- You will see a window like this, If you are asked to enter your password please do so and let IT know afterwards that you were asked to.

- When it is done select “Finish”

- On the “Mail” window select the drop down menu for “always use this profile”

- Select the new profile you made, for this one I used the days date 7-14-2022

- Select “Apply”

- Open outlook again, it can take up to several minutes for emails to show up as it is download your inbox from scratch.
